The Public House.

The Public House.

The Public House finds it's home inside the Hotel Indigo property in Vinings (Atlanta).  If you've been to or have ever stayed at an Indigo property before, then you already know that each hotel is tailored to mirror the community in which it resides.  This location is no different, with a quaint porch adorning the front entrance, along with the entirety of the hotel paneled in wood, and painted stark white.  This very much so, from a far, could be the "the house on the hill" blending in with the other homes just a little further down the road. Step inside; however, and you'll find the chic, and stylish decor that is synonymous with the brand.

Because of work, I am in the Vinings area fairly often; about once a week.  No matter what my current plans may be while in Vinings, I always find myself meandering over to The Public House to feed either my stomach, or chat up the bartender to try what's new at the bar.

Manning the kitchen, is Chef Brian Lee (JW Marriott, Le Meridien) who is creating inspiring dishes that can be a perfect stand alone bite, or paired with one the many craft cocktail creation available at the bar.  Did I mention the wines on tap?  Take your time and become acquainted with the various wine producers behind each tap handle, while munching on some House Chips (with bacon & blue cheese fondu...um hello!).  You will also find numerous local beers behind those tap handles as well.
